Serving Our Heroes

In 2025, we brought the community together once again through Serving Our Heroes, a tennis fundraising event in partnership with ItsRainingRaincoats to raise funds and awareness for migrant workers. With the support of over 30 sponsors, the event brought together more than 100 participants including Minister Edwin Tong as our Guest-of-Honour and Mediacorp personality Jean Danker as our event host. Together, we raised more than S$25,000 in support of the cause, making a meaningful impact on the community. During the event, our migrant workers also had the opportunity to join us on the court, where we introduced tennis to them, and therefore creating a space for the wider community to connect with each other through sport.

Where It All Began

project love-all 1.0

In 2020, when COVID-19 surged through Singapore's migrant worker dormitories, the crisis exposed the heightened vulnerabilities faced by many migrant workers. To ensure migrant workers could share in the spirit of Hari Raya, we partnered with ActiveSG Tennis Academy and rallied the wider community to raise S$7,500, providing 880 festive meals across Singapore.

WORDS THAT MOVE US

Feedback from partners, participants, and community members who've been part of the journey.

A big thank you to Shaheed and the Project Love-All team for organizing this event supporting ItsRainingRaincoats and thinking of our Migrant Workers.

Ms. Dipa Swaminathan
Founder of ItsRainingRaincoats

Shaheed's “Serving Our Heroes” event has helped to shift how our migrant workers are seen — not as invisible labour, but as someone's father, son, brother who deserves joy, dignity and a place in Singapore's community. Shaheed's amazing work and efforts has also helped to further integrate our migrant worker brothers into Singapore's society.

Former ItsRainingRaincoats Board of Directors

Very happy to spend yesterday afternoon at Project Love All — an excellent ground up initiative to raise funds for, and more importantly, raise awareness about, the migrant workers in our community. A great project, underscoring how sports can bring people together so well. A great day of tennis all round — especially for the migrant workers who had a nice try out.

Mr. Edwin Tong
Minister for Law and Second Minister for Home Affairs

I'm really touched by how genuine Shaheed is in wanting to give the foreign workers a chance to play tennis, and that his entire family and many friends came to help. Everyone was united for a good cause.

The event was very well-organised and there was clear communication to all participants. The doubles competition was fun.
